A team sport? If by that u mean a few guys may never touch the ball during the ENTIRE game then YES, it is a team game.

I have a hard time watching the LLWS too. When I was a kid I used to love watching it, but it's hard to relate to it now since I'm 10 years older than the kids playing.

I could barely watch the Little League game today.... Yawn... (and I can catch)

Exactly. It relies more heavily on individual skill than other sports do.

![]() The let's talk about LOST thread. I'm just going to start with the Oceanic 6. We know that Jack, Kate Hurley and Sayid got off the island for sure. We also know that Ben and baby Aaron got off as well. Baby Aaron was born on the island and i doubt that hes "one" of the Oceanic 6 and same goes to Ben. Leaving us with... who are the other two. How did they get off and why not the others, which brings up the question of why the 6 are protecting the other survivors on the island. Also will the 6 return to the island. On a side note, Stampedehool (which i talk to him a lot about the show) brought up a good point about 'the others' that are still on the other island. What the heck is going on with them???? |

Can't get into it too much now. But I do want to say that last week's show (Desmond) was one of the coolest things I've ever seen on TV. The other "others" took off somewhere when they bailed on their comfy compound area. How about the time discrepancies!? 90 days on the island must mean almost a year (or more?) in the real world. Cool shit man,....cool shit... Oh the other two.....Michael and Walter? |

The whole Desmond thing was really amazing. Hool and I at first were really lost didn't know when that thing was taking place. Just when you thought that they can't mess things up even more (in a good way) they pull that of. Amazing. The time discrepancies? The only thing we need to know is how long has Kate's trial been going on. I'm going to guess that not that long. So, Kate saw here mom right as she got sick and that's when she blew up the house. According to the mother, she's been sick for 4 years... About Michael and Walt. I'm still assuming that when Jack went to that ghetto funeral home, that was Michael that was in the casket. No idea what happened to Walt tho. |

So is Desmond cured, now that he has a "constant?" As Benek mentioned, I want to know what's up with the "others" still remaining on the opposite "prison" island. Also, what's the deal with Walt and Michael. If they actually made it back to the main land, then why didn't they tell anyone about the island and the survivors?? Obviously one of the biggest questions that comes up is, why does Jack say only 8 people survived the crash. In reality, 48 survived the initial crash. What are they trying to hide about the island? Are the other survivors still alive back at the Island? Next week's show looks to be a really good one. Each episode this season has gotten better and better, so I don't expect anything less on Thursday. ![]() SECTION 101 STAMPEDE |

Remember the fake crash? i'm guessing that Jack and the 6 are saying that that was their flight since that flight did crash into the water. Keeping the island a secret. |

I'm so glad that you started this thread. I've stopped worrying about the fate of the Rhinos for the past few minutes. There are so many questions about Lost that I want answers to. The two biggest ones are: Is the Dharma Intiative still a functioning organization in 2004, and who had the power and resources to fake the crash of a passenger jet. It'd take millions of dollars to do that. ![]() |

I really have no theories on the island and it's mystery. hopefully someone can share what they think... but i'm out of ideas You're right, Ben does have the answer to that. I think they want to keep the island secret because of all of the special things the island has. Locke was in a wheelchair when the plane crashed. Rose had terminal cancer and is now cancer free. Sick people from all over the world would be flooding the island if the island's secrets were made known to the general public. Also, countries would be claiming the island. The island is somewhere between southern Indonesia and nothern Australia. The United States, France and the UK have islands in that part of the South Pacific. Putin would find a way to get Russian involved. My other big question is where are the Others? We haven't seen anything from them so far this season. I think we'll find out a lot more about the island, the Others, Dharma and the newcomers when Penelope shows up on the island. |

Two, Michael screwed them over, i wouldn't really go to his funeral either. Three, Michael seemed like he didn't have many friends, which would explain why no one showed up. |

Besides, I think Ben admitted to doing this in an earlier season anyways [could be wrong]. ![]() SECTION 101 STAMPEDE |

Three, Michael seemed like he didn't have many friends, which would explain why no one showed up. Did you see in the lead-up show that the name of the funeral home was an anagram for "flash forward"? Crazy bastards. I actually thought it was Sawyer in the casket. Don't know why. That's just where I was at. Another reason for hiding the island: time slows down. You get to live longer. I think Walt is coming back at some point this season and, well, he's not a little kid anymore in real life, so the time discrepancies will have him aged a couple more years than the survivors. Conveeeeeeenient. If you haven't checked out the side story from the website, do it. it's pretty damn cool. Also the "missing pieces". But they'll just screw with your head. Like...."why on earth did the producers want us to see this!?". They're not cut footage. They're written and shot for the website. |

I thought it was Sawyer as well in the casket. But after thinking about it I believe it is John. Right now he doesn't want to leave but if he discovers why Ben is doing what he is doing he might leave to protect the island like Sayid. He could have been killed in that line of work. |

If the island really cured him that is. He's paralyzed in the real world and i believe that he's only fine on the island.

I really doubt that the stiff in the casket is one of the 6. That just wouldn't make sense in a bad who gives a rats ass form.

Based on what we know, the only people it for sure is still alive at that point are Kate and Jack. All the other flash forwards seem to take place before Jack's flash forward. I base that on his lack of depression in the other flash forwards. |
